Prior to her role as Chief Human Resources Officer of Fakih IVF Group, Mrs. Wafa El-Ali has been the Chief Operating Officer of Fakih IVF Dubai since its early start in 2007 and has played a large role in its exponential growth from a small operation of 8 staff members to the present level of more than 140 in Dubai and more than 400 in the whole Group. She was involved in all aspects of strategy, finance, HR, marketing, and patient care. Before joining Fakih IVF she was head of the Customer Care Unit of a Gas and Electricity company in Antwerp, Belgium managing over 150 staff members and dealing with over 250,000 customers. Mrs. Wafa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Economics and a Masters in Politics, both from the University of Brussels in Belgium.

Ms. Mirna El-Ali has over a decade of experience in the Healthcare Industry, with a focus on fertility for 10 years.

She joined Fakih IVF Dubai in 2013 serving as Clinic Manager. Her strong managerial, team management and analytical skills in addition to her highly organized character brings substantial added value to her role.

Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Economics from the University of Brussels, Belgium, Ms. Mirna combines her academic background with practical expertise in contributing to the success of the business.

Dr. Amal Salama joined Fakih Medical Group as Head of Insurance and Medical Records in March, 2014. Dr. Amal has over eight years of experience as a Medical Insurance Expert and has worked with main insurance companies, such as Daman, Al Khazna and NAS, as well as large medical institutions. She has completed certificates of the Clinical Coding Steering Committee of HAAD in the Emergency Department, Home Care Visits and Outpatient Office Visits. Before joining the administrative side of healthcare, Dr. Amal completed her Medical Degree in Internal Medicine and General Surgery and Masters Degree in Pediatrics at Al Kasr Al Ainy, Cairo University.

With over 25 years of leadership experience in healthcare and more than 35 years in information
technology and telecommunications, Christos Drakakis is a strategic healthcare technology
executive specializing in healthcare informatics, digital transformation, enterprise architecture,
and innovation. He combines deep technical expertise with strong business and operational
insight to help healthcare organizations leverage technology as a strategic enabler of clinical
excellence, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth.

Christos has extensive international experience across Greece, the United States, and the Middle
East, leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering complex digital transformation initiatives
for hospitals and healthcare groups. Throughout his career, he has successfully aligned
technology initiatives with corporate vision and business strategy, leading large-scale
transformation programs that modernize healthcare delivery, enhance patient and clinician
experiences, strengthen governance, and create measurable organizational value. His expertise
spans digital health strategy, healthcare informatics, AI adoption, interoperability, cloud
technologies, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, data and analytics, smart hospitals, and
emerging technologies that shape the future of healthcare.

Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a Master’s degree in Decision Support
Systems – Advanced Informatics, Christos combines strategic leadership with hands-on technical
knowledge, enabling him to bridge the gap between executive vision and practical execution. He
is recognized for building high-performing teams, fostering innovation, establishing strong
governance frameworks, and enabling organizations to embrace digital transformation while
maintaining resilience, security, and regulatory compliance.
